FOREVER CLASS FIELD GUIDE
The Druid, revisited.
Balance, Feral Combat and Restoration support different forms and nature-magic roles. Recheck form-specific tools and mana planning.
Returning-player checklist
- Read your current abilities and visit a trainer before planning around an old rotation.
- Choose a tree for the activity and role you enjoy. A levelling plan need not be a raid plan.
- Inspect prerequisite talents and point gates; unfamiliar combinations may be invalid.
- Review equipment stats in the current client rather than copying a Vanilla best-in-slot list.
What has changed?
Balance, Feral Combat and Restoration stay connected through forms, with more practical flexibility and revised healing choices.
More actions in form
Blizzard expands form-compatible consumables, interactions and racial abilities. Nature's Grasp and Omen of Clarity become baseline.

An ordinary resurrection
Revive adds an out-of-combat resurrection at level 12. It is separate from Rebirth, so inspect both cooldowns and intended uses.

Reworked Restoration milestones
Swiftmend moves to the 16-point milestone without consuming the target's heal-over-time effect. Wild Growth joins as a deep talent.

How we compare versions
Official class articles describe changes from original WoW. The maintained comparison database uses Classic Era 1.15.9.70003, with Season of Discovery-era tuning, rather than an untouched Vanilla client. Database-only differences below are labelled accordingly. Abilities beyond level 30 are future planning, outside the current beta cap.
Get familiar with your trees
Balance
Compare Insect Swarm, Nature's Grace and Moonkin Form. Read the current point route and baseline spellbook before reusing a Vanilla allocation.
Feral Combat
Bear and Cat decisions share Feral Combat. Inspect Feral Charge, Primal Bite and Berserk with your intended form in mind; this is not a four-specialisation Retail layout.
Restoration
Wild Growth heals the target and their party over seven seconds, with stronger early ticks. It is a future deep-tree choice beyond the beta's level-30 budget.
Returning from Vanilla or Classic
Check which actions work without leaving form and remove obsolete baseline-buff talent assumptions. Add Revive to your out-of-combat recovery toolkit while keeping Rebirth distinct.
Coming from Retail
Plan around the three Forever trees, including shared Feral Combat. Inspect party targeting and individual spell text instead of importing Retail's Feral, Guardian or healing assumptions.
Try this before your first group
- Check a consumable and interaction while in form.
- Ask a trainer whether Revive is currently available.
- Read Swiftmend's tooltip before deciding which healing effects to preserve.
