QUESTING & LEVELLING
Questing through a changed Azeroth.
Plan your Forever levelling journey with a practical checklist, new-world pointers and clear limits on what has been verified.
Before leaving your starting area
Our recommended first-session checklist is to read your class abilities, visit your trainer, check your bags, and collect nearby quests with compatible objectives. Group similar journeys together, but allow time for unfamiliar quest text and new paths.
- Keep a little gold for training rather than buying every upgrade.
- Choose professions you want to use throughout the journey.
- Ask friends to agree meeting places and faction before travelling.
- Use the quest log to check objectives and levels; this guide does not invent coordinates.
Early levelling and the beta boundary
Blizzard’s beta announcement began with a level-20 cap and said level 30 would open later. Those are testing limits, not the level-60 launch cap. Check the latest beta notes for what is actually unlocked in your current session.
A new starting route: Zephras Isle
The Skyborne introduction identifies Zephras Isle as a level 1–12 starting experience. Horde or Alliance alignment is chosen at character creation. This route accompanies the Skyborne unlock, so check your account entitlement before planning it.
New destinations on the way to 60
Riverglades and Mount Hyjal are part of the announced world expansion. We link the official world recap instead of promising a precise efficient route through areas whose quest availability and rewards can change during testing.
Use dungeon quests as a reason to form a group
Before entering a dungeon, check your log for related quests, arrange roles and confirm the current entrance and level guidance. Our recommendation is to plan time for travel and regrouping rather than treating every dungeon as a short detour.
Check rewards for your actual role
Blizzard’s itemisation recap gives examples of additional quest reward choices for casters, including a ring from Mor’ladim’s story and a spell-oriented option from the Nesingwary quests. The important habit is to compare all current reward choices instead of remembering only the Vanilla weapon.
What this guide currently verifies
This is a sourced levelling preparation guide, not a tested step-by-step route for every quest. Exact objective locations, prerequisite chains and drop-rate claims will be added only when they can be verified against the current Forever client or a maintained source.
Look up the quest you are playing
The community resources linked below provide Forever quest records, Zephras pickup and turn-in maps, and selected walkthroughs. Check your current quest text and beta build against the record. Their coverage and accuracy vary; these links do not establish a complete tested levelling route.
