DUNGEONS & RAIDS
Gather your party.
A sourced overview of Forever’s announced dungeon and raid adventures, with practical preparation for a new group.
The early beta dungeons
The beta announcement identifies Hall of Thanes for levels 13–18 and Ruins of Lordaeron for levels 15–20 in the opening test content. These are advertised testing ranges; confirm current access and tuning before organising a run.
The announced dungeon roster
The roadmap names Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, the Wetlands excavation site, City of Dalaran, Blackmaw Hold, Drowned City, Krol’dok Stronghold, Alcaz Prison and Shaper’s Terrace. We do not fill gaps in boss strategies or loot tables with Vanilla assumptions.
Raid plans
Blizzard describes Barrow Deeps as a maximum-level 10-player challenge and Hyjal Summit as a 20-player raid. Its roadmap places the new raid opening on 9 December 2026. Keep the date distinct from the game launch.
Prepare for tactical pulls
Before a first run, our recommended group plan is to assign tanking and healing roles, agree target markers, discuss crowd control and take small pulls until the group understands the encounter. Stop to check resources and explain an unfamiliar mechanic.
- Let the tank establish control before opening with heavy damage.
- Avoid breaking a marked crowd-control effect.
- Keep escape and recovery tools easy to reach.
- Discuss quest objectives and loot expectations before entering.
Why old loot lists need reviewing
The itemisation recap says dungeon drops have been reconsidered and new rewards added. Check the current item tooltip and your role before chasing an established Vanilla list. No untested best-in-slot ranking is implied by this overview.
