What camping adds

Blizzard’s systems recap expands the cooking-fire idea into shared camps with crafted objects. The system connects rest, crafting utility and other players. Inspect the current objects and requirements in beta before planning materials.

Build your profession plan around use

Our recommendation is to choose a profession because you want its output or group utility, then pair it with a sensible source of materials. Keep some bag space for ingredients and avoid assuming old recipes or vendor prices are unchanged.

Camp objects and recipes

The official recap describes profession-specific camp contributions and more advanced blueprint recipes. Some camp benefits overlap with class buffs. Read tooltips rather than assuming every contribution stacks.

  • Check what your current profession skill unlocks.
  • Ask what the group has already placed before contributing.
  • Carry the materials your chosen object actually needs.
  • Treat dungeon recipe drops as a reason to play, not a guaranteed drop.

Legacy and tradeskills

The Legacy article awards points at 150, 225 and 300 skill in non-gathering primary tradeskills. Legacy’s profession branch can support activities across characters, but each character chooses its own perk allocation.

A practical first-session checklist

Find your profession trainer, learn the initial recipes you can use, and identify materials along your quest route. This is preparation advice; exact recipe efficiency routes and an auction economy forecast are not verified here.
